~ An Ode to Lamo Bay~
Tucked in cozy Westdale,
A place where sisters pray,
Stands a house of refuge,
We call it Lamo Bay.
Always feels like home here,
You'll know it from the start,
If you linger longer,
It's sure to touch your heart.
Wecomed by its dwellers,
A pilgrim when I came,
Now life moves me onwards,
I'll never be the same.
Can't describe my anguish,
In leaving it behind,
Never such a treasure,
Outside it likely find.
I know that Jesus lives there,
He's present day and night,
Sincere lovingkindness,
Is never out of sight.
Resident no longer,
I just wanted to say,
"Love you girls so dearly,
You girls from Lamo Bay."
Thank you, Erika, Karne, Gloria...for being God's instruments. And thank you to everyone at Philpott who walked with me these last few months, to Chuck for so much, and to the lab for memories to last a lifetime. So long Hamilton. I hope it won't be long.
